PONY CLUB UK
Barrier Animal Health Spring Festival Dressage and Show jumping Area competition

Hi I’m Tommy, I rode at the spring dressage event at Aston Le walls.  Dazzle my pony was a Spindles farm rescue in 2007, it was so horrible to hear about the pain he went though.  Spindles farm was the worst ever case in the UK of equine welfare abuse with 111 equines rescued from the site.

Today at the pony club area competition,  we won the grassroots test and came second in the novice test . In the grassroots test we got 69% and in the novice test 71%.

The show qualifies us for the nationals this weekend.

This is William Hodges and the completely amazing 148cm pony Bonnie. They won the 1m show jumping at the Spring Festival area championships on 3rd April,  qualifying for the 1m championships at the Arena Uk Spring Festival on 10th April. William had already commited to compete in pairs on that date and help at his own PC branch event, so they won't be able to attend the finals this time.

Happily William qualified his smaller pony Floyd for the Spring Festival Championship Finals in the 85cm a few months ago, so he will have a chance to ride in the finals.  Report to follow after the 8th April.

William and his incredibly talented 138cm pony Floyd were also competing in the 95cm show jumping Spring Festival champs at Aston Le Walls.  They had a wonderful round with an unfortunate pole but overall ended up with a Bicester and Warden Hill PC team 1st.
William and Floyd are riding in the 85cm finals on 8th April.
